About & Entrepreneurial Journey

I am Rana Rashid Ilyas, an entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in manufacturing, international trade, business development, and global travel.

My entrepreneurial journey began in 2002, when I established Silver Hawks Industries, a company focused on the manufacturing and export of surgical instruments. From the beginning, my vision was not limited to building a business locally; I wanted to develop international relationships, understand global markets, and establish long-term partnerships with customers around the world.

In 2008, I began participating in international exhibitions, marking an important new chapter in my professional journey. These exhibitions gave me the opportunity to meet people from different countries, explore new markets, understand international business cultures, and develop valuable relationships. Over the years, business and travel became closely connected, allowing me to experience and learn from many different parts of the world.

In 2017, I established Seven Eight Sirgikal, expanding my activities in the manufacturing and export of surgical and dental instruments. The company continues to serve international markets with a focus on quality, reliability, and professional business relationships.

My entrepreneurial journey also expanded beyond Pakistan. In 2018, I established a company in Vietnam under the Silver Hawks Industries brand, strengthening my international business presence in Southeast Asia.

In 2020, I entered the food and agricultural trading sector by establishing Silver Hawks Trader, dealing in the export of rice, red chili, black chili powder, and other products commonly used in Pakistani cuisine. The company also developed a joint venture with The Isha Royal, France, further expanding my international business network.

Over the years, I have developed business connections and offices across different countries, including the United Kingdom and France, while continuing to build relationships with international partners and customers.

In October 2024, I moved to Brazil, combining my passion for travel with new business opportunities and international experiences. Living and traveling in different parts of the world has given me a broader understanding of people, cultures, markets, and opportunities.

Today, in 2026, I have returned to my hometown with more than two decades of entrepreneurial experience and a global perspective shaped by years of international business and travel.

A Life Beyond Business

For me, entrepreneurship has always been more than simply building companies. It is about exploring opportunities, meeting people, learning from different cultures, creating relationships, and continuously growing.

I consider myself a Traveler, Entrepreneur, and Social Worker. I have traveled to more than 50 countries, experiencing different cultures, communities, landscapes, and ways of life.

Outside business, I enjoy football and swimming, and I am especially drawn to peaceful and natural environments. I enjoy spending time at quiet beaches, in the mountains, and among forests—places that provide the calm, inspiration, and perspective that are sometimes difficult to find in a busy business life.

Looking Ahead

My journey is still continuing.

From manufacturing surgical instruments in 2002 to building international businesses, traveling across more than 50 countries, and developing relationships across continents, every chapter has contributed to who I am today.
